Anoesh Vroomman is director and founder of SkinQuip Netherlands BV.
The Dutch PMU Congress is an initiative from her thoughts on the development of PMU in the Netherlands SkinQuip is known at home and abroad for its quality training and master classes in the field of PMU, Medical Pigmentation, Microneedling and Removal. Concepts such as: PMUmagazine, Veilige PMU Netherlands and the NPC all fall under SkinQuip’s banner.

TOPIC: complications with tattoos and PMU
Dr. S.A.S. van der Bent, a dermatologist specializing in tattoo problems, dermo-surgery and proctology. Founder of the Tattoo clinic in the Netherlands, current location Alrijne Hospital Leiden. The Tattoopoli is a consultation hour especially for people with tattoo complications, including permanent make-up, medical tattoos, amateur and professional tattoos.

Dr. Stef Stienstra
TOPIC: The science of pigment prothesis, micro-pigmentation or ‘just a tattoo’?
Dr. Stienstra is not a regular speaker. This biomedical scientist is known worldwide for his knowledge of processes that take place in the skin after a tattoo or PMU has been placed. His presentation will amaze you and give you the knowledge you need to distinguish yourself as a specialist. No more wondering why something doesn’t work after posting your work. A nice clear explanation about what you do every day but never knew.

TOPIC: Medical pigmentation / dermatography
Paola Gateño has trained thousands of students in cosmetic and medical PMU during her career in Chile and beyond. She specializes in training medical personnel with strong ethical values in the first existing fellowship to professionalize the PMU career.
She is director of the national campaign #SOLOXTUSONRISA and the international campaign CRUZANDOFRONTERAS. This is dedicated to the physical and psychological recovery of women with breast cancer through aesthetic, paramedical and medical PMU. In this way they help them restore their self-esteem and improve their quality of life.

Thijs Veenstra is coordinating policy advisor for the RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. There he coordinates the processes of including guideline developments, training and advising in infection control and public health.

Ingrid is the CEO of Swiss Color. She will be part of the question panel present on-stage from various branches of our field. She will answer questions about pigments and their applications. Live on stage!

TOPIC: Mini masterclass powderbrows/theory & video demo on-stage
Pamela travels the world with her unique powderbrow technique. In this extensive Mini Masterclass, she shares all the theory with visitors, and lets them witness exactly how the treatment works, in practice.
So, you will follow a live mini master class powderbrow techniques from this international Master Trainer. However, the treatment is not given live on stage, but can be followed via the recording, step by step. This way you do not have to watch for hours during a live demo, but you can see and learn everything!

Martine Arends recently changed course in her life when she decided to follow her heart. Leaving behind her long-standing career in Human Resources, she is now fully focused on starting her own PMU salon; Villa 10.
What does it take to build a successful business in this day and age? How did she experience starting her business and how will she ensure her success in this industry?
How does she hold her own among all the Insta-likes of others and develop a successful brand? During her presentation, Martine takes you through the tumultuous start-up period of a new business, working very hard to build a bright future.

TOPIC & DEMO: Microneedling and DermaSR scar treatments
Jenni Määttä will give a presentation and demo on Microneedling and DermaSR scar treatments during the Dutch PMU Congress.
Jenni is known in Finland and far beyond for her exceptional results with microneedling and medical pigmentation. Last year we already got to take a look at her “in the kitchen”. Microneedling can be used perfectly as a pretreatment for medical pigmentation but is also in itself an extremely effective treatment against scars.
During this presentation and demo, she will work on-stage on a model and show the application on a scar.
Microneedling and PMU are increasingly used in this combination for dermatography. Find out all about it during this interesting lecture and demonstration.
